Invited by Zhou Lifeng, vice president of Wuxi Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing Association and chairman of IDO, accompanied by Xiao Yu, deputy secretary-general of the association, at 9:30 a.m. on the 26th, the Gu Bureau of Wuxi Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Wuxi Technician Dean Li and Dean Zhang of the college, Honorary President of Wuxi Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing Association Chen Juchang (former director of Wuxi Machinery Bureau) , and some vice presidents and directors of the Intelligent Manufacturing Association gathered at IDO to discuss the country’s promotion of “intelligent manufacturing”. Talent strategy and implementation plan in the context of the “reform to digital transformation” policy.

The meeting began with Chairman Zhou Lifeng introducing the development history of IDO Company and sharing his experience in entrepreneurship of IDO's core products from molds, smart home appliance production lines, industrial robots, to photovoltaic glass equipment and new energy equipment.

Then the group visited the IDO workshop and gained an intuitive understanding of molds, precision machining, intelligent production equipment, photovoltaic glass paper laying machines, and four-wheel drive heavy-duty AGVs.

In the conference room, entrepreneurs fully shared, communicated and discussed with leaders from the Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the Technician College on the cultivation of professional and technical backbone personnel for enterprises in the industrial robot and intelligent manufacturing industries.

The leaders of the Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the Technician College have great insights and put forward many meaningful suggestions and measures. They learned from Dean Li and others who inspected the model and successful experience of Suzhou Funa Technology Intelligent Manufacturing College. The Intelligent Manufacturing Association took the lead and relied on Wuxi Intelligent Manufacturing Enterprises. With its advantages and leading position in the country, it is preparing to establish the Wuxi Intelligent Manufacturing Institute to cultivate professional and technical talents to adapt to the development of new markets and new situations, and has set the goal of starting classes in September 2023.
