Tumble Dryer Drum Assembly Line

Production Line Overview
The process flow for this production line is as follows: Sheet A loading, destacking, conveying, edge folding, seam interlocking, top and bottom edge folding, manual panel insertion and screw fastening, pre-rolling, manual visual inspection, and robotic transfer onto the overhead conveyor chain.
Production Line Parameters
Whether the production line equipment is automated or manual depends on various factors, including the client's specific requirements, cycle time, investment budget, and available facility space. Our projects constitute fully customized, integrated turnkey solutions—encompassing every stage from initial consultation, design, and manufacturing to installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.

Feeding Cart
● The cart design draws reference from the configuration of existing automated roller conveyor lines.
● The main frame of the cart is constructed from aluminum profiles; it is a four-wheeled cart, featuring two fixed wheels at the front and two swivel wheels at the rear.
● A handrail, a stopper plate, and a foot-operated brake pedal are installed on the side of the cart equipped with the swivel wheels.
● A material rack datum block is installed on the left side of the cart (relative to the direction in which the cart is pushed in).
● A material sheet positioning rod is installed on the left side of the cart (relative to the direction in which the cart is pushed in).
● A material rack stopper is installed on the right side of the cart (relative to the direction in which the cart is pushed in).

Single-Station Gantry Robot
● The equipment consists of a frame, a lifting mechanism, a traversing mechanism, a suction gripper, a double-sheet detection unit, and other components.
● The main frame structure is a welded assembly of steel tubing; the downstream conveyor is mounted directly onto the frame.
● The lifting mechanism utilizes a configuration comprising a lead screw, a synchronous belt, and guide rods; a suction gripper is attached to its terminal end to facilitate the picking and placing of workpieces.
● The traversing mechanism employs a configuration consisting of a synchronous belt and linear guide rails; the lifting mechanism is mounted atop the traversing mechanism to facilitate the lateral movement of workpieces.
● The suction gripper utilizes a sponge-type suction pad.
● The double-sheet detection unit is mounted on the frame, enabling the detection of double sheets as the workpiece traverses across it.

Conveyor
● The equipment consists of a mounting plate, a guiding mechanism, a pushing mechanism, a positioning mechanism, and other components.
● Utilizing the mounting plate, the conveyor unit is mounted onto the frame mounting surface of the preceding single-station manipulator.
● The guiding and positioning mechanism is divided into a fixed positioning section and a movable section. The movable section employs a configuration comprising a servo motor, a lead screw, and linear guides to accommodate workpieces of varying widths. Guiding for both sections is achieved through a system of upper, lower, and side guide rollers; specifically, the upper guide rollers can be actuated by a pneumatic cylinder to open, thereby allowing workpieces to be loaded into the equipment from above.
● The pushing mechanism utilizes a configuration consisting of a servo motor, a push rod, a chain, and linear guides to propel the workpiece—along its longitudinal axis—into the downstream integrated folding and seaming machine.

Integrated Hemming and Seaming Machine
● The equipment consists of a machine frame, a seaming mechanism, a hydraulic station, left and right flanging mechanisms, a guiding and positioning mechanism, a rounding and clamping mechanism, a support mechanism, a turnover mechanism, and other components.
● The main body of the machine frame is a welded assembly constructed from steel tubing and plate material; it comprises an upper frame and a lower frame. The seaming mechanism and the rounding and clamping mechanism are mounted on the upper frame, while the left and right flanging mechanisms, the guiding and positioning mechanism, the support mechanism, and the turnover mechanism are mounted on the lower frame.

V-bending Machine
● The equipment consists of a machine frame, an upper flanging mechanism, a lower flanging mechanism, a mandrel rotation mechanism, a material support mechanism, and other components.
● The main body of the machine frame is a welded assembly constructed from steel tubing and sheet metal; it comprises a left frame and a right frame. The upper and lower flanging mechanisms are mounted on the left frame, while the mandrel rotation mechanism and material support mechanism are mounted on the right frame.
● The upper flanging mechanism is divided into a positioning wheel assembly and a flanging wheel assembly. The lateral (left-to-right) movement of both wheel assemblies is driven by a system utilizing a servo motor, a lead screw, and linear guides, enabling the flanging operation through their combined action. The vertical (lifting/lowering) movement is similarly driven by a servo motor, a lead screw, and linear guides, allowing the mechanism to perform upper flanging on drum rings of varying heights.

Dual-Station Gantry Robot
● The equipment consists of a frame, a lifting mechanism, a traversing mechanism, a barrel-clamping mechanism, and other components.
● The main body of the frame is constructed from welded steel tubing assemblies.
● The lifting mechanism utilizes a configuration comprising a lead screw, a synchronous belt, and guide rods; a barrel-clamping mechanism is mounted at its terminal end to facilitate the picking up and placing down of barrel rings.
● The traversing mechanism employs a system consisting of a servo motor, a rack-and-pinion drive, and linear guide rails, enabling the simultaneous left-and-right movement of two robotic arms to facilitate the transfer of barrel rings between different pieces of equipment.
